2019 Finally Reveals Lost Tapes 2
July 19th, 2019
Not only did Beyonce drop a culture changing album, but one of the top rappers in the game, Nas, has released his album Lost Tapes 2. This album consists of features by Swizz Beatz, J. Meyers, David Ranier, RaVaughn, Al Jarreau, and produced by Kanye West, Pharrell, Pete Rock and others. Nas keeps nobody but the best around him. Nas last released his first Lost Tapes back in 2002 when the rap game still consisted of mixtapes and low quality songs. Nas has yet to switch up his flow to sound the same as the new rappers today. He still remains in his 90s, New York sound and we can do nothing but respect that. Nas keeps in touch with his originality. Keeping his originality, apparently, the songs on the long-awaited project were recorded during sessions for his previous albums Hip Hop Is Dead, Untitled, Life Is Good, and NASIR. No wonder the album gives us an old school vibe! In addition to this new album, Nas confirms that the third and fourth albums to Lost Tapes are in the bag. They'll be out soon. As for now fans can stream the new album and catch Nas on tour with Mary J. Blige the rest of the summer.
