Busta Rhymes Is Back With His New Album 'Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God'
October 30th, 2020
After releasing his last album, 'Back On My B.S.' over ten years ago, hip hop legend Busta Rhymes has dropped his newest album.
"Extinction Level Event 2" is Busta's follow-up to his 1998 three-time Grammy nominated, RIAA Certified Platinum album E.L.E. (Extinction Level Front): The Final World Front.
In this incredible body of work, the Brooklyn rapper brings us back to old school hip hop. While still giving us the new school feel, Busta gathers fellow hip hop legends Bell Biv Devoe, Rakim, Q-Tip, Old Dirty Bastard and others to feature on his album! While some songs bring us back to the Busta Rhymes who first appeared on the hip hop scene, with his energetic spirit and crazy music visuals, other songs allow us to see another side of Bus'. These songs offer a slower-tempoed, soul touching message. It's almost like seeing the softer side of the animated rapper.
Before officially releasing the album, Busta Rhymes dropped several singles. Just a month ago he dropped his single featuring Grammy-Award winner Anderson .Paak, "YUUUU" and "The Don & The Boss" which features Vybz Kartel. Just before releasing his debut album he released "Look Over Your Shoulder" featuring both comedian Chris Rock and rapper Kendrick Lamar. Busta also made an appearance on Trippie Redd's single, "I Got You," which samples part of Busta's 2002 hit single, "I Know What You Want."
After the release of the album, it's safe to say Busta Rhymes is back. The OG is back.
