According to HipHopWired, rapper Gunna is on watch of possibly being taken out by the opps after Tekashi 6ix9ine got jumped in an LA Fitness in Florida. Following the Gooba rapper being viciously attacked, Gunna was warned about possibly receiving a fade through tweets circulating on Twitter.
The Wunna rapper sparked controversy as both Young Thug and Gunna are involved in the YSL RICO case, but the Pushing P star was dismissed as he pleaded not guilty in the court hearing. A video was shared showing Gunna being asked by the judge, “YSL is a music label and a gang, and you have personal knowledge that members or associates of YSL have committed crimes in furtherance of the gang?” and in response he replied, “Yes, ma’am.”
The Judge then proceeded to question by asking, “You were present when law enforcement officers stopped the vehicle in which you were present along with Jeffery Williams [Young Thug], where hydrocodone, methamphetamines and a firearm were recovered. These items did not belong to you?” to which Gunna once again responded, “Yes Ma’am.” Not long after, 6ix9ine chimed into the drama via social media and commented, “Just stfu and listen I know ya don’t wanna accept it[.] Your man is fighting for his life in court on a gang Rico. Go ahead and make your 1,000,0000 excuses. I stand on whatever I do or did. That’s why I'm walking on this earth AND NOTHING EVER HAPPENS TO ME.”
Ridiculing Gunna’s birthplace, 6ix9ine stated “Atlanta has been the quietest I ever seen ‘em all fucking day. All of them n-ggas is quiet right now! They don’t know what to say! Their phone calls is ringing, ringing. ‘Yo, what should we say? Just stay quiet for now.” The rapper added more fuel to the fire by posting a clip via his instagram stories of Gunna’s cameo in a 2021 film called Dutch. The Banking On Me rapper in his character, who happens to be behind bars, quoted “Get me McDonald’s and when you come back, I might remember something. Can you do that?” asking an investigator.
Twitter had a field day of jokes putting in their intake of the whole fiasco with meme’s from The Boondocks to Kevin Hart.
